Tough to Get Up This Morning to Exercise

Really had to talk myself into getting up this morning.  I’m on week two of my weight training program to lose weight, but I think I’ll call last week a false start.  Why, you ask?  I’ve had dizzy spells off and on since February and felt like crap on Tuesday.  It was so bad that I went home after being at work for half the day.  On Wednesday, I didn’t do anything because I was still dizzy and was scheduled for an MRI.  I think in all, I worked out maybe 3 out of five days.  Guess that’s better than nothing.

So, today is my actual start date on the program.  I worked my chest, lats, shoulders and triceps.  Weight lifting isn’t the most exciting thing to do, but if it helps me look and feel better, I’ll do it.  By the way, I got on the scale this morning and weighed in at 207.  Not too bad since I started out at 215 a few months ago when all I was doing was running.  My pants are still lose compared to what they were 3-4 months ago and as long as that’s the case, I’m good.
